Memories of Scott from Sybil Holz a family friend who he knew as “Aunt” Sybil

Scott and David mean a lot to me.  I have very fond memories of times we spent together.  One example is when Scott worked for me and my husband, John, when Scott was a teenager.  We had a food truck from which we sold ice cream, fudge, beverages and other foods at fairs.  He worked the Philadelphia Fair at the Keystone Racetrack in Bensalem, PA a few times and also the Delaware State Fair in Harrington, DE once.   Another great memory and an example of Scott’s kindness was when Scott’s Grandmom Millinghausen passed away in 2011.  My husband and I had retired to Florida, but came to PA to attend her funeral.  John was having mobility issues.  Scott was right there by John’s side to help him navigate and assist with whatever John needed.  He was a special young man with a kind and big heart.  I think of him and David often.

Memories of Scott from Patti (Miller) Swift

Scott was a great son, brother, and friend. He was always willing to step in and help out. My favorite memory of Scott was when he surprised Laura for mother's day by renting a car and driving down from the city.

He loved to travel. One of the places he traveled to was China. He came back with a panda snow suit for Georgie and a wooden croaking frog. Even though both of my kids have long outgrown the panda snowsuit, they both still play with the croaking frog.

Scott loved his dog Griffin. I've never seen a bond between a dog and his owner form so quickly as the one between Griffin and Scott. The two were inseparable. My kids also loved when Scott would visit with Griffin. My favorite memory is when Lydia followed Griffin around the house asking him where he was going and what he was doing.

Scott also loved photography. His photography can be found throughout my parents house and it's gorgeous. Even though he loved to take nature shots the most, he often took our family portraits as well. We found a sketch book in his belongings that my son now has. Georgie has now filled it with his own drawings and loves to think that at one point in time his uncle Scott also drew pictures in it.

Scott was an amazing person who lived life to the fullest. We should all strive to live life as full as Scott did in his short time.
